my friend sara* married into tahoe "ski mafia", and posted this link about the sport shop at squaw valley closing it's doors after 34 years of serving the community there. while empathetic - all i could do was stare at this majorly amazing sign from the original facade.
* ps: her blog graphics were done by our team 😉

we like crafts. martha stewart may make bazillions on it now, but this lady right here was really the trailblazer in making crafting cool. unfortunately, she passed away this week. her obituary in the ny times is a wonderful article. these photos from the selby of her home with designer vladimir kagan are fantastic.
update: videos from her on youtube!

I am a huge fan of Advanced Style, and saw this video posted on the solestruck blog this morning. great pull quote from "ty":
“My Philosophy is Fashion says me too. And style says only me.”
Make sure when you leave the house today - you're bringing it!

maybe not the best thing ever - but definitely the best thing to happen to women's pants! kate darnall over at bonfire snowboarding crafted the "taylor pant" to save you from snow down your crack. jacket to pant can suck it. free yourself from gators - and look HOT doing it. grab yourself some here, you'll be glad you did! portion of proceeds on these goes to B4BC.
