The season was inspired by the life cycle of the aviary, nest, first flight, migration and return. We brought them to life in the photography and layout.
Nikita was revealing new visual direction for FW1516 (led by our catalog designs) and wanted to keep the booth clean and focused on the product. We used smooth white surfaces and wood to add some texture and warmth. The monoliths allowed product to be displayed quickly and divide selling spaces without solid walls.
Feature product stories were housed in custom plywood alcoves to elevate the garments and seasonal photography was placed in the background to create an ambient feeling for the brand.
We designed the graphics for the booths at ISPO as well.
We also executed the more grass roots regional shows like Know Show and Agenda Long Beach.
We worked with the brand team at Nikita to develop their catalogs and seasonal voice for snow and street for FW1516. We took inspiration from modern fashion print – but brought in an irreverent image hierarchy to balance the white space and keep it connected to the DNA of the Nikita brand.
We implemented this look and feel across their global Trade Show presence and will roll it into consumer facing execution in the coming months.
